My sketchbook is a place where I can be more free and explore tactile materials. I like to use a variety of media such as oil pastel, gouche, coloured pencil and posca pens.

My final illustrations, which are primarily created digitally, often come together like a puzzle, a combination of specific shapes and colours. The basis of these always come from my sketchbook, I couldn’t visualise the path I’d take without sketching and playing first.
